About this program
A comprehensive introduction to growing a delicious, regenerative food garden with confidence!
The Food Lab will give you the skills and guide you through the full growing cycle of an abundant food garden on a small and medium scale for personal, or community consumption and enjoyment.
This lab is offered on four different Saturdays during the 2026 growing season rain or shine:
Sat May 23 - spring garden prep and planting,
Sat July 4 - early summer vegetable how to harvest, fertility management, pest and disease control,,
Sat Sept 19- root vegetable harvest and seed selection,
Sat Oct 24 - seed saving and garden closing to feed the microbiome all winter long.
Some dates may be subject to change, based on The Food Garden Lab cohort availability.
Each visit builds practical regenerative gardening skills, natural disease and pest control solutions and most importantly a deeper connection to the land. The Food Garden Lab Pass will provide the skills and inspiration you need to grow your own fresh, delicious and nutrient dense food.
What's included:
seasonal hands on learning activities for all skills and levels,
a light farm lunch and refreshments,
seasonal produce to take home,
questions and answers,
plenty of time to relax in a hammock.
The Garden Lab supports your learning journey as well as a small regenerative organic farm to cultivate healthy soil, thriving ecosystems to nurture all life, and a more resilient food future.
