Hammock Earth
Fertile ground for people, land, and one another.
A community dedicated to cultivating ecological belonging through shared experiences with food, the earth and one another on the land and online.
Who We Are
We believe that human well-being and ecological health are inseparable.
On the land, we create spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with their senses, and experience the culture that grows food. Through farm tours, shared meals, workshops, storytelling, and immersive gatherings, Hammock Earth invites people into a living relationship with the ecosystems that sustain us.
Our hope is to nurture a joyful and generous Canadian food culture—one that not only tastes delicious, but also regenerates soil, strengthens communities, and supports climate resilience for generations to come.
Online, this work continues through a global community of embodied creatives, facilitators, coaches, and educators. Together, we share practices for regulating the nervous system, living creatively and authentically, building sustainable livelihoods, and navigating change so we can thrive in our personal lives, our work, and our communities.

The Heart of Hammock Earth

Our Vision
“To grow global well-being through ecological belonging.”
Ecological belonging is remembering that we are part of nature, not separate from it. Our well-being is shaped by how we care for the land that sustains us—our food systems, animals, water, and one another across generations. It is the lived experience of being in relationship with land, food, seasons, and community, where care for the earth and care for people are understood as the same act.

Our Story
How Hammock Earth Began
“How do we care for the Heart and the Earth at the same time?”
This inquiry sparked several conversations as Anahita and Thu got to know each other. Coming from different paths, one through healing the body and supporting others through change, the other through tending land and growing nourishing food.
Hammock Earth is a weaving of our communities and dreams to gather both on the land and online. A space of ongoing exploration, practice, and becoming.
